LightWerks Integrates over 50 DTEN Conferencing Displays at UCLA

LightWerks has an ongoing partnership with UCLA, and has completed many AV projects for the university throughout the years.  The pandemic prompted most educational institutions to transition to online learning, and has since created a need for hybrid meeting/learning solutions.  UCLA needed an easy-to-use video conferencing solution that was scalable, reliable, and high in quality so that in-person faculty and staff could easily connect and collaborate with remote participants.

LightWerks integrated over 50 DTEN displays across UCLA’s campus.  The DTEN is an all-in-one, plug and play video conferencing solution. The system includes a 4K interactive, multitouch display with an integrated auto-framing camera, a smart AI 16-microphone array, and crystal clear audio producing speakers.  The appliance is designed to be used with Zoom. The single device is used for video conferencing, digital whiteboarding, and live on-screen annotation of documents and shared content.

LightWerks integrated 55,” 75,” and dual 55” DTEN displays in UCLA’s libraries, classrooms, and conference rooms.    The displays are housed on Heckler AV mobile stands, allowing for easy transportability, and making it simple to move units between classrooms, conference rooms, and huddle spaces.

The DTEN systems offer UCLA flexibility and ease of use.  The solution offers a simple interface that allows faculty and staff to easily engage in an intuitive, collaborative meeting experience with one-touch to start.  The responsive, multitouch displays make initiating Zoom meetings simple and quick. Meetings can be setup and started in minutes!

LightWerks was able to deliver an all in one, simple, user-friendly video conferencing solution for UCLA through the integration of DTEN systems.
