LightWerks Integrates 10x24 Video Wall at The Sunset

LightWerks has a longstanding relationship with Kilroy Realty, and has partnered with this large real estate corporation on several audio visual integrations throughout the greater Los Angeles area. The Sunset, a mixed use property in Hollywood, California, is LightWerks’ most recent project with Kilroy. The integration involved a 10×24 foot video wall in the building’s underground valet parking area, as well as the installation of audio throughout the common, outdoor areas.

The Sunset is a popular and highly frequented retail and commercial space, and its underground valet parking area serves as one of its main entrances. Rather than adding static signage to this space, Kilroy decided to modernize and capitalize on the highly trafficked valet area with a video wall.

LightWerks integrated a Nixel Series™ by NanoLumens video wall, as well as advanced audio. The system is controlled by a Crestron touch panel. The video wall will not only be image enhancing, but also income producing, as Kilroy has engaged with advertisers who will purchase add space to run on the display.

Above the parking garage and valet space, LightWerks integrated audio throughout the outdoor, common areas of The Sunset by installing speakers within the landscaping of the property. The system includes 16 speakers in 4 separately adjustable zones. The tasteful design provides high quality audio without compromising the aesthetics of the space.
