LightWerks Partners with Harbor Regional Center
Harbor Regional Center is a non-profit organization that offers community-based services to people with developmental disabilities. LightWerks partnered with Harbor Regional’s Torrance and Long Beach locations to update their meeting spaces with state-of-the-art conferencing and presentation solutions.
LightWerks’ partnership with Harbor Regional Center was originally fueled by the organization’s desire to acquire clear audio. They were experiencing challenges during their meetings and conferences using their original technology. Specifically, Harbor Regional wanted a voice amplification system that would balance the audio of different speakers. LightWerks integrated
SHURE Microflex® wireless microphone systems into Harbor Regional’s conferencing spaces. This sophisticated voice amplification solution, combined with a Bose DSP audio processor, allows every voice in the room to be heard.
Several meeting spaces at Harbor Regional Center, including a divide-combine space, were updated with Samsung flat panels, Canon laser projectors, and Vaddio conferencing cameras. In addition, users are able to easily mirror their devices using Barco’s ClickShare solution. The systems are powered by Crestron, and controlled by iPads. Users are able to easily control lighting, audio, and video with the Crestron iPad application, which LightWerks programmed and customized for Harbor Regional Center.
