Training room at CalTech equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual solutions
Collaborating with globally acclaimed science and engineering institute, Caltech, LightWerks has spearheaded the integration of cutting-edge technology into various learning spaces across the Pasadena, California campus. A recent example of this partnership is the overhaul of the 8th-floor training room in Caltech Hall, where state-of-the-art audiovisual solutions were integrated to enrich collaboration and elevate the overall learning.

The upgraded training room, now hybrid-ready for video conferencing, features Panasonic VMZ71U7 laser projectors distributed strategically throughout the floor, ensuring high-quality visuals, and creating an immersive learning experience. Da-Lite projector screens were installed for optimal visual presentation, enhancing the room’s versatility and collaboration capabilities. A comprehensive audio setup includes Shure’s MXA 920 array microphone and ULXD wireless microphone system, along with Crestron Saros in-ceiling speakers for crystal-clear sound.
The Crestron technology integration is a highlight, with a CP4 processor and touch panel for seamless control of the entire AV system. A 4k HDMI DA video splitter enhances video distribution. Visionary Solutions‘ video/laptop input plate and transmit/receive video devices enable flexible connectivity options for various devices.
