LightWerks creates hybrid training spaces at corporate office.
Training spaces / multi-purpose rooms are typically large in size and can be adjustable in configuration, depending on their purpose. U-shapes, box shapes, and rows are common seating arrangements in these important spaces. Due to their size and varying configurations, training spaces, along with other large meeting rooms, often make it difficult to capture audio and video. Adjustments frequently need to be made to camera and microphone positions, prior to meetings, in order to accommodate changing seating arrangements. Recently, individuals have become accustomed to being seen and heard during video conferencing meetings without compromise, as they worked from home offices. Translating this productive and effective mode of communication to large meeting spaces can be a challenge. Fortunately, LightWerks has expertise in designing spaces that ensure everyone in the room is seen and heard without compromise.
Recently, LightWerks partnered with this Fortune 500 athletic company to integrate state-of-the-art hybrid meeting solutions into their training spaces. The organization wanted to be able to quickly and seamlessly conduct high quality Zoom video conferencing meetings, regardless of how training spaces were configured. LightWerks integrated 3 QSC PTZ-IP cameras, two in the front of the rooms, and one in the center rear of the rooms, along with 4 SHURE MXA-910 ceiling microphones. When active speakers are detected, the cameras smoothly switch their positions to follow the audio. This sophisticated auto-tracking calibration solution ensures that presenters are seen and heard seamlessly, regardless of where they are positioned and how the space is configured. It also eliminates the hassle of needing to attend to technology prior to a meeting in order to adjust cameras and microphones.
The training rooms also include 8 QSC AD-P6T-BK speakers for sound reinforcement and 2 75” SONY 4K flat panels on Chief mobile carts for far end viewing. The monitors connect to a rack through an Extron DA that sends a signal to a TX/RX pair. A touch panel allows users to select their room configuration from presets in the menu and operate the system with ease. The solution offers a user-friendly interface, quick and easy setup, and superior video conferencing experience requires no technical support to initiate.
Overall, the client is delighted with the functionality of the rooms and has recommended LightWerks as a great resource for AV needs.
