Enhancing Community Engagement Through Advanced Technology

In pursuit of greater inclusivity and community connection, the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians sought to expand their reach beyond physical boundaries and include members unable to attend in-person events. LightWerks responded by playing a pivotal role in modernizing the Community Center in Siletz, Oregon, through cutting-edge technological upgrades.

The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians, renowned for their diversity, offer a wide range of essential programs and services to eligible Tribal members, spanning housing, education, health, and employment services. With a steadfast commitment to community well-being, they recognized the need to embrace advanced technology to further enhance their outreach efforts.

At the heart of this commitment lies the recently revamped Community Center, now equipped with state-of-the-art technology courtesy of LightWerks. Key technological installations include the Sony VPL-FHZ131L/W projector paired with a 164″ screen Da-Lite motorized screen, enabling immersive visual experiences for gatherings and events. The integration of a Crestron RMC4 controller and HD-PS402 HDMI system ensures seamless control and connectivity, while the Crestron TSW-770 touch panel mounted in the rack provides an intuitive user interface for efficient operation. Eight strategically positioned JBL AC299 speakers deliver immersive audio, enhanced by the Biamp Tesira FORTE DSP for optimal sound management.

Additionally, two Sony SRG300 cameras capture speakers and attendees from both front and back perspectives, ensuring comprehensive coverage of events. Complementing these technologies are four Shure wireless microphones, offering versatile audio input options for dynamic presentations and performances.
