LightWerks updates University hotel's Grand Ballroom with latest AV equipment

LightWerks has a longstanding partnership with the  University of Southern California (USC). The USC Hotel Grand Ballroom marks yet another successful AV project and partnership with the University. The USC Hotel is the only hotel owned and operated by the University of Southern California. Formerly operated as the Radisson Hotel Los Angeles Midtown at USC, the 240-room hotel is a long-standing extension of USC and a connection with the downtown community.

Located on the second floor of USC Hotel is the 7,000 square foot Grand Ballroom, which can comfortably accommodate up to 300 guests. The hotel’s banquet facility is the university’s largest venue for guest lecturers and events. It is ideal for meetings, weddings, social events, and celebrations. LightWerks installed Epson laser projection systems, Da-Lite screens, advanced audio, and iPad control to augment the outdated system originally installed. The Grand Ballroom is a divide/combine space, in which either one large banquet hall can be created, or three separate event spaces. The flexibility of the space, complimented with LightWerks’ easy to operate AV system control, creates an ideal environment for large meetings requiring multiple breakouts or gives the hotel the opportunity to maximize their rental revenue with the expanded capability of three separate event spaces, all offering A/V presentation services.
